Your FAITH Journey

The goal: Maturity and reproduction

The FAITH pathway achieves both goals:

  • Maturity: Progressive growth from Simple FAITH through FAITH Plus
  • Reproduction: By FAITH Plus completion, you can disciple others through the entire pathway

Personal maturity

Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:13, NKJV)

Reproduction

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. (2 Timothy 2:2, NKJV)

Notice the multiplication: Paul→ Timothy → Faithful men → Others also

That’s four generations of disciples. True discipleship reproduces.

Living the FAITH lifestyle: Integration into daily life

Discipleship isn’t just studying materials. It’s a lifestyle of following Jesus that permeates everything. Here’s how FAITH principles integrate into daily life:

Morning: Starting with FAITH

Simple FAITH reminder (2 minutes): Review the five points as you wake:

  • Father God loves me
  • I’m accepted in Christ
  • The Holy Spirit lives in me
  • I’ll talk to God today
  • I’ll show His love to others

VICTORY declarations (5 minutes): Declare one VICTORY principle as you start your day. Monday: VALUE, Tuesday: IN CHRIST, etc.

Example: “Today I remember I am valued by God. My worth doesn’t depend on my performance today. God chose me, loves me, and sees me as complete in Christ.”

Prayer and Scripture (10-20 minutes): Use methods learned in FAITH Foundations:

  • Pray using ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication)
  • Read Scripture using the SOAP method
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you and lead you today

Throughout the day: Walking in FAITH

Decision-making: Use FAITH Plus wisdom for everyday choices. Ask:

  • What does Scripture say about this?
  • What would love do in this situation?
  • How can I honour God in this decision?
  • Is the Holy Spirit prompting me in a particular direction?

Relationship interactions: Apply FAITH Foundations and VICTORY truths:

  • Love from overflow, not obligation (FAITH Foundations)
  • See others as image-bearers God loves (Simple FAITH)
  • Respond from your secure identity, not defensiveness (VICTORY)
  • Practice Spirit-produced fruit: patience, kindness, gentleness (FAITH Plus)

Facing challenges: Use VICTORY declarations for specific situations:

  • Financial pressure? Recall God’s sovereignty and provision
  • Health concerns? Remember God’s presence and purposes
  • Relationship conflict? Trust God is working everything for good

Work and responsibilities: Remember FAITH Plus principles:

  • Work as unto the Lord, not just for human approval
  • Use your gifts to serve and bless others
  • Steward resources faithfully
  • Let your character witness to Christ

Evening: Reflecting with FAITH

Review the day (5 minutes): Ask:

  • Where did I see God at work today?
  • Where did I walk by the Spirit? Where by the flesh?
  • What am I grateful for?
  • What do I need to confess or address?

VICTORY evening routine: Thank God for specific ways He was faithful today. Identify areas where you lived from victory vs. striving toward victory.

Prepare for tomorrow: Briefly consider tomorrow’s schedule. Pray about anticipated challenges. Surrender tomorrow to God’s control.

Rest in grace: Don’t end the day with guilt over failures. Confess sin, receive forgiveness, and rest in the security of God’s love.

I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. (Psalm 4:8, NKJV)

Weekly: Deepening FAITH

Sabbath rest: Practice what FAITH Plus teaches about rest. Take a weekly day to:

  • Cease from regular work
  • Worship with God’s people
  • Enjoy God’s creation and gifts
  • Reflect on God’s goodness

Small group or discipleship meeting: Regularly meet with other believers to:

  • Discuss what you’re learning from FAITH resources
  • Pray for each other
  • Hold each other accountable
  • Encourage spiritual growth

Service and witness: Put Simple FAITH into practice:

  • Serve in your church using your gifts
  • Look for opportunities to share your faith
  • Practice loving your neighbour concretely
  • Give financially to God’s work

Monthly: Assessing FAITH growth

Personal evaluation: Once a month, assess your growth:

  • Am I growing in love for God and others?
  • Are my spiritual disciplines consistent?
  • What fruit of the Spirit is developing?
  • Where am I still struggling?
  • Who am I helping grow in their faith?

Recalibrate as needed: If you notice:

  • Performance patterns returning → Review VICTORY
  • Spiritual disciplines slipping → Review FAITH Foundations
  • Theological confusion → Study relevant FAITH Plus session
  • Lack of basics → Return to Simple FAITH

Plan next steps: Based on your assessment:

  • What FAITH resource do you need to study or review?
  • What specific area needs focus this month?
  • How will you apply what you’re learning?
  • Who can help you grow in weak areas?
