VICTORY: Living from Grace

What VICTORY Is

VICTORY is a biblical framework for Christian living that shifts you from performance-based religion to a grace-based relationship with God.

VICTORY is:

  • A seven-principle framework for daily Christian living.
  • An acronym representing biblical truths about your identity in Christ.
  • Designed to prevent and correct performance-based Christianity.
  • A tool for sustainable, joyful Christian living.
  • A daily practice, not a one-time course.

Target audience:

  • Believers who understand the basics but are developing performance patterns.
  • Christians experiencing spiritual exhaustion or burnout.
  • Those who feel Christianity has become a duty rather than a delight.
  • Believers who know they’re saved by grace but live as if they must earn God’s approval.
  • Anyone needing to recalibrate from striving to resting in Christ.

The question VICTORY answers

“How do I live from my identity in Christ rather than striving for God’s approval?”

Many Christians start well but gradually drift into performance-based Christianity. They begin trying to earn what grace has already given them. VICTORY addresses this by teaching you to live from the victory Christ has already won rather than striving toward the victory you hope to achieve.

The VICTORY acrostic

V – VALUE: Your identity stands secure in Christ

Your worth doesn’t fluctuate based on performance. God chose you before the world began, loves you unconditionally, and sees you as complete in Christ.

I – IN CHRIST: Your position determines your outcome

Every challenge you face exists within Christ because you do. Nothing in your life is outside His authority, love, or ability to work for good.

C – CONQUEROR: Fight from victory, not towards it

You don’t fight hoping to win. You fight knowing the battle was won at Calvary. You enforce Christ’s victory rather than trying to achieve your own.

T – THINK DIFFERENTLY: Renew your mind, not just your behaviour

Real change begins in your thinking. You have the mind of Christ and can replace defeating thoughts with His truth.

O – OUTCOME-FIRST: Begin with the end God sees

God sees your completed story before your current chapter ends. He has predetermined good outcomes for every situation you face.

R – RELY ON THE SPIRIT: The divine genius within you

The Holy Spirit provides real-time wisdom for every decision and challenge. You partner with divine intelligence, not just human reasoning.

Y – YES TO LIFE: Challenges refresh rather than drain you

Challenges are designed to develop you, not defeat you. You can find refreshment through difficulties instead of being drained by them.

What makes VICTORY unique

Identity-based, not behaviour-based

VICTORY doesn’t focus primarily on what you should do. It focuses on who you already are in Christ. Right behaviour flows from secure identity.

Daily application

VICTORY provides daily morning and evening routines, declarations, and practices. It’s designed to be lived every day, not just studied.

Addresses the root issue

Most discipleship materials focus on symptoms (specific sins, inconsistency in disciplines). VICTORY addresses the root: believing you must perform to earn God’s approval.

Prevents burnout

By teaching you to live from God’s acceptance rather than for it, VICTORY creates sustainable Christian living that lasts for decades, not just months.

Practical declarations

VICTORY includes specific declarations for common challenges (financial pressure, health concerns, relationship conflicts). You learn to apply gospel truth to real-life situations.

Biblical foundation

VICTORY rests on positional truth, what God says is already true about you in Christ:

V – VALUE (Ephesians 1:4-6; Romans 5:8)

I – IN CHRIST (Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:3)

C – CONQUEROR (Romans 8:37; 1 Corinthians 15:57)

T – THINK DIFFERENTLY (Romans 12:2; Philippians 4:8)

O – OUTCOME-FIRST (Romans 8:28; Jeremiah 29:11)

R – RELY ON THE SPIRIT (John 16:13; Galatians 5:16)

Y – YES TO LIFE (John 7:38; John 10:10)

Each principle directly reflects Scripture about who you are in Christ and how to live from that identity.

How to use VICTORY

For personal daily practice: Begin each morning with VICTORY declarations. Review one principle each day of the week. Use evening routines to reflect on how you lived from victory. Make VICTORY your daily framework for Christian living.

For addressing specific challenges: When facing financial pressure, health concerns, or relationship conflicts, use the specific VICTORY declarations provided. Apply gospel truth to your specific situation.

For one-on-one discipleship: Walk through VICTORY principles over seven weeks with someone you’re discipling. Help them identify performance-based patterns and replace them with grace-based living.

For small groups: Use VICTORY as a seven-week study. Each week, focus on one principle. Share struggles with performance-based Christianity. Encourage each other to live from grace.

For ongoing refreshment: Return to VICTORY regularly throughout your Christian life. When you notice performance patterns creeping back (and they will), review VICTORY principles.

When you’ve completed VICTORY

You never “complete” VICTORY. It’s a framework for lifelong Christian living. However, once you’ve grasped and begun applying VICTORY principles, you’re ready for the comprehensive equipping of FAITH Plus.
